// Victorian arches and Romanesque Architecture in the Hintze Hall, at the Museum of Natural History. Monday's are the most curious of days in the weekly calendar. The mind is at its wandering peak, come Monday morning. This afternoon, whilst taking a break at work, my thoughts take me to the Museum of natural history in London. Thought trails are fascinating, they start somewhere and end up in a completely different place, almost always irrelevant to the source. As I sipped my cappuccino looking out of the window, I was reminded of the window I used to frequent at a cafe in London. The busses that whizzed past, a peculiar smell onboard the bus, the dizzying labyrinth of places they connected you to in London, intermittent rain, and a recall of the rainy day at the museum the last time I visited. The Hintze hall, is my place of wonder in the museum of natural history. The sheer magnificence of it all at the entrance, is reason enough. As I walk through the hall, I’m walking through pages of Harry Potter, with the glorious stairways, red brick walls and towering ceilings. The Victorian arches and colossal pillars are captivating, effortlessly exuding flawless symmetry within the Halls. The high windows and vaulted ceilings tell forgotten tales and paint the imagination with pages in history, making one wonder how much skill and dexterity it takes to mastermind architecture that is so timeless. It is beautiful, and stimulating, thinking about the architects and their visions. I have always mused about how they envision such enormous structures and build them from the base, erecting walls and creating stories with brick and mortar. This brings me back to infer that Monday's are indeed bittersweet, and thoughts can often inspire to leave lasting impressions with ones passion for work. __ #Thoughts #Monday #Inspiration #Writing #London #NaturalHistoryMuseum #Beautiful #Architecture #Prose #Stories #Musings via Instagram http://ift.tt/1nHAkc4
